Tampa’s largest free car show came back to The Motor Enclave for a busy morning: the Hard Rock Speedway naming-rights unveiling, hundreds of cars on the Tilke-designed circuit, and one of the biggest turnouts the venue has had.

The ninth edition of Cars en Coffee opened with the official unveiling of Hard Rock Speedway, the new naming-rights partnership between The Motor Enclave and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. Around 6,000 enthusiasts came through the gates over the morning, with hundreds of cars parked end-to-end along the 1.72-mile Hermann Tilke-designed circuit. It was equal parts ceremony and community show, which is what Cars en Coffee has been since edition one, and what’s made it one of the bigger Tampa car shows on the calendar.

By the Numbers

  • Event: Cars en Coffee, 9th Edition
  • Venue: The Motor Enclave — a premier Tampa racetrack, home of Hard Rock Speedway
  • Circuit: 1.72-mile Hermann Tilke-designed road course
  • Attendance: 6,000+ guests across the morning
  • Vehicles: hundreds displayed directly on track
  • Format: a free car show in Tampa, FL — open to all

Hard Rock Speedway: A New Chapter for The Motor Enclave

The morning’s headline came at the unveiling on the front straight. Tampa Mayor Jane Castor joined community leaders, partners, and media to formally launch the naming-rights deal between The Motor Enclave and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa.
The deal puts Hard Rock’s name on a purpose-built Tampa racetrack and lines up more upcoming Tampa events: track days, club meets, and bigger weekends still to be announced.

From Hypercars to Grassroots Builds

Cars en Coffee runs on a simple idea: park the hypercars next to the project cars and let the owners talk to anyone who walks up. Edition 9 stuck to the formula. Hundreds of cars covered the circuit, from exotic supercars and modified builds to vintage classics, track-prepped machines, and rare collectors.

The crowd pulled from across Tampa Bay and South Florida: exotic owners, European performance clubs, JDM groups, American muscle, the Porsche faithful, motorsports regulars, and a deep bench of local collector circles. That mix is what makes the event work.

Owner Stories Worth Sticking Around For

A lot of the cars came with real backstories: custom fabrication projects, multi-generational collectors, and purpose-built track cars with thousands of garage hours behind them. The format makes those conversations easy. Owners are right there next to their cars, happy to talk about what they built and why.

Rally Funds the Cure: A Cause on Pit Lane

The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation kicked off “Rally Funds the Cure” at Pirelli Pit Lane with a ceremonial moment to mark the start of the campaign. NPCF is Tampa-based, and the link to the local automotive community has been a recurring thread across recent Cars en Coffee editions.
